Success at national EJCOA Final

England Junior Coaches and Organisers National Youth Final was held at Nottingham High School on the weekend of 6th-8th July.

The Final was a 5-round FIDE rated standardplay in age sections, playing 90mins + 30s increments.

The outstanding result was from Eldars Guilijevs in the U14s, who finished clear first with 4.5 out of 5. He won a trophy, £100 and a £50 Chess and Bridge voucher. Congratulations!

I the U16s-U18s, Maksim Krasnov and Alexandra Arlachova both finished on 2.5pts, with Jonah Tomsett on 0.5pts

In the U12s, Senith Gunarathne was second on 4pts, only losing in the final round to Frank Richmond. Aryan Nair scored 2pts, Artemijs Gulijevs 1.5pts. 

In the U10s, Robin Sykes scored 2.5pts.

Finally in the U8s, Miheli Gunarathne finished with 2.5pts.
