For the second consecutive year the Nottinghamshire County Blitz Championships has been organised as a summer interlude. As before, it was organised as an Open with the unusual time control of 7mins + 2sec increments.
Performing well above his rating, Torsten Ensor scored 2.5/5 to win the Best U1500 prize.
